Homer’s Asphalt, a Springfield-based paving company with a knack for unconventional projects, recently took on the challenge of giving Moe’s Tavern a much-needed facelift. The exterior of Moe’s had seen better days, with cracked pavement and potholes that made it look more like a hazard zone than a friendly neighborhood watering hole. Enter Homer Simpson, the owner of the paving company and a regular at Moe’s, who saw an opportunity to combine business with pleasure.
The crew from Homer’s Asphalt descended upon Moe’s Tavern with their trademark mix of enthusiasm and chaos. Homer, of course, was front and center, leading the charge with his signature catchphrase, “Mmm… asphalt!” The team worked tirelessly, navigating the quirky challenges presented by Moe’s unique clientele, including the occasional interruption from Barney Gumble, who mistook the asphalt for a giant beer spill. Despite the comedic setbacks, the crew managed to transform the exterior into a smooth and inviting space that reflected the character of the beloved dive bar.
